These pictures were made using oatmeal pinhole cameras
with B&W film. The film is developed, scanned into
Photoshop and colorized using the curves tool. The
round pinhole camera distorts the architectual spaces
as well as the very edges of the image. Color is
applied as replacement tonality and solization of
continuous tone creates color boundries that tend to
abstract the image. With all that is breaking up the
image, I am delighted when somehow the color and the
form come together as an expressive image.
