These pictures were made using oatmeal pinhole cameras with B&W film. The film is developed, scanned into Photoshop and colorized using the curves tool. The round pinhole camera distorts the architectual spaces as well as the very edges of the image. Color is applied as replacement tonality and solization of continuous tone creates color boundries that tend to abstract the image. With all that is breaking up the image, I am delighted when somehow the color and the form come together as an expressive image.
